Wonderful Pendleton quality and a vibrant, fun design. It is durable, warm, and beautiful. Despite many people's assumptions that it will be scratchy because it is wool, it is very soft and comforting. Blankets are very important in our blended family (native/non-native) and our children have each been gifted several. Pendleton has never let us down. We purchased this one for our second son. It is the perfect size to lay out anywhere and put down our 4 month old or to wrap him up when we head outside. I use it frequently as a carrier cover for his infant car seat. It is warm and insulating. Washing is the only concern as it is a wool blanket. Follow care instructions so you do not shrink the blanket inadvertantly. I don't plan on having any more children but if I do, they will also be getting a Pendleton blanket. *Picture is from when he was just a few weeks old and weighed about 9lbs*
