Good for kidsI have a 6.5 year old grandson and a 3 year old granddaughter they absolutely loved this! We sat at the table as they put stickers on their flower pots and this also came with a hard cover book! The child can put their name inside the book as the author and they can write her color whatever they would like in the book as well as play some stickers in there as well. My grandchildren spent about close to an hour decorating and then we planted the seeds and they get to take them home it was a great experience I would highly recommendMy child received this as a Christmas gift it was a white Christmas this year and we had placed the plant by a window to grow after 2 weeks and it's still not growing we were disappointed and assumed the plant had died, But after moving the plant underneath the lamp in a warmer location of the home it immediately started to grow beautifully I would say definitely follow the directions on growing the plant it makes a big differenceThis was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. I can’t believe the growth!! The directions did say to plant only 1 or 2 beans, we planted all three. They are doing amazing and I had to move them to a bigger pot because they are doing so well! She was so incredibly excited when they started sprouting. I’d say it took less than a week for them to start coming up. The little messages on the beans showed up awesome and was so cool for her to see! I can’t wait to see how they do in their new pot and if I will be harvesting any beans from them! Highly recommend!I think I’m more excited about this than my 3 year old!! This planting kit was the most amazing thing we’ve done so far. If you’re on the fence about it, I can assure you this will exceed your expectations. It comes with everything you need to paint the planter and grow these magical little stalks! I haven’t put the colored pebbles in yet but I think it looks great without it. My daughter had a blast doing this and she was excited every day to check on her little friends. She loves peppa pig so I made some little paper drawings on toothpicks to excite her even more. She named one stalk Peppa, one Alexander and one George. I don’t have a ton of light in my window so it took a little over one week to see the first signs of growth but I have a feeling if there were more direct sunlight they would have sprouted faster.Overall, really worth every penny and giftable! It’s the kind of gift I think moms and kids would actually learn something from.My granddaughter and I did this together. She painted it and then we planted the seeds. It was so much fun to watch them grow. It is still growing. In fact, we had to transplant it into a bigger pot. I can’t take a picture because it’s in her bedroom. I can say she loves watching it keep growing and watering it. Definitely a good buy!Took a while for the bean to grow. But my daughter was excited when it finally did.Unfortunately ours did not ever grow.. followed all directions.. ( plus we have horticulturists in the house). My grandson was so disappointed ?.. he said it must have been a Covid beanMy child was so excited to receive this during quarantine. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks time, none of seeds had even opened. So disappointing. Other then that, it was a fun craft ideaNot worth having disappointed kids. They enjoyed painting it. But never grew and now they are disappointed and upset. Waste of money. This is an amazing plant! It’s real big tho so unlike in the ad picture, I’d not plant more than one at a time in the pot provided. Beautiful plant! Glad there are three seeds.
