Bought this for a camping buddy and he loved it. Nice and wide, long enough for a tall (6'3") person, sturdy. I liked the fact that good quality straps came with it. The hammock bag is small and very portable. Would buy this again. We purchased this for a summer vacation in Vermont. It is very compact so perfect for traveling. Everything fits snug in the attached bag. Material is like a parachute which is lightweight, fast drying, and breathable. Set up was a cinch. This hammock was the perfect resting place after a long mountain hike. We relaxed next to a lake listening to loons. It transformed our camp site into a dreamy forest oasis. My 4 year old hung out in it for hours. I would definitely recommend! Just don’t leave it outside for an extended period of time as I’m sure it would eventually break down. It’s not meant to be a permanent setup but really is perfect for travel.A terrific hammock, but pocket is not sewn well at all. Full of strings unraveling. If I put things in it and pulled them out they’re all caught Up in the strings. My granddaughter has a loft style twin bed and likes to hang out underneath it with books, toys and such when she's over. She wanted a hammock to hang underneath the bed and this fits perfectly. It is well made, sturdy and easy to hang. This is the perfect size for my 7 year old daughter.I haven’t had a chance to test it because my hammock stand doesn’t come in for a few days. But I opened it today, and I saw some extra threads on the fabric. I don’t know where they came from. I checked every inch of stitching and it all looks good, so I’m not too worried.I do like that the ends are secured with the same type of strap they use for trees. I took out the carabiners, unlooped the straps, and could lay it all out flat. That will be really nice for washing it. It also will be easier to dry off if it gets wet.I love this Hammock, It is very big, can fit 2 people, it is durable. I brought it camping for the 1st time is the spring and then took it out on day hiking trips for our lunch breaks. It is very easy to put up, It feels solid and strong. It is large, I would not take it backpacking. it is a trade off because it is more comfortable and solid than our small backpacking hammock, but 3 times the size. i would definitely recommend it for day hikes, car camping and even if you want to put it up at your house. As spring time is here and folks are getting outside to enjoy nature, a good hammock is that extra gear you need to add to your pack. The Easthills hammock was sturdy and solid without a lot of extra weight. The included suspension straps makes the sack everything I needed for a short trip to one of my favorite getaways by the river. As the sun was setting and the breeze was blowing off the Blackfoot River, I slowly drifted off to sleep in comfort. The color choices made it easy to pick my favorite for long term trips and concealment in the woods. \The best thing about the Easthills hammock is that I am 6’-0” and still had about a foot and a half over my head and below my feet. Not to mention that at 275 lbs, I was not even a little worried about the hammock holding my weight due to the great stitching up and down the material. Combine that with the secure carabiner straps and even a heavy wind won’t put me in the dirt.I’m convinced it will hold two people but I like the space so I’ll get another hammock for her.
